Site Migrated & New Theme

So I’ve decided that in order to keep my command line skills sharp and to continue learning even more, I needed to move my main site(s) over to a Cloud Server where I manage the entire LAMP stack directly. After some headaches with WordPress I’ve completed the migration and things are up and running smoothly — and fast! I took this opportunity to start with a clean WordPress install as well since this site was started on a very old version. I reinstalled all of my plugins, dropped a few, make a few other tweaks and then simply imported all my posts and comments instead of a database restore. What most people will probably notice is the new theme, or lack thereof. I sometimes prefer the minimalist approach and I found a great theme framework that I like, just the way it is. I still have a few tweaks to make but I’m almost there.

I’d appreciate some feedback on the new look/feel and any suggestions are always welcome!

I’ve put together a 12 minute video walking you through the installation, setup and configuration process for WordPress on Cloud Sites. I also show the steps for easily enabling clean URLs and uploading the famous CDN Tools WordPress plugin which automatically side loads all of your static content to Cloud Files and serves it over the Limelight CDN, all behind the scenes.
