mediatemple (mt) is getting worst day by day. Very frequently I am facing MySQL down issue. When contacted their support, they say it is a known issue and ask us to migrate to a higher plan and pay more!

Support is very slow, takes 30 hours to comeback with a response. Until then, our site will be down.

They are not able to keep their minimum guarantee of providing a hosting that will not go down. In average my site goes down because of MySQL issues twice a week!

Glad to see other people exposing the truth about how bad Media Temple's Grid Service really is. I got sucked in by their slick marketing years ago, and can't seem to get rid of my account. They recently gave me a year's hosting credit because of the excessive downtime. I barely have any websites left on the grid though because of how often it goes down. See:
http://www.serverschool.com/shared-hosting/media-temple-quite-possibly-the-worst-web-host-you-can-get-for-free/

The reality is, Media Temple should abandon the "Grid" altogether. They just aren't able to keep it operational. On top of that, if you ever have a customer service issue (like your site not responding) prepare for 20 - 30 minute hold times.

Good to hear Mosso is having better luck.
