Very frequently I am facing MySQL down issue. When contacted their support, they say it is a known issue and ask us to migrate to a higher plan and pay more! Support is very slow, takes 30 hours to comeback with a response. Until then, our site will be down. They are not able to keep their minimum guarantee of providing a hosting that will not go down. In average my site goes down because of MySQL issues twice a week! mediatemple (mt) is getting worst day by day. Very frequently I am facing MySQL down issue. Support is very slow, takes 30 hours to comeback with a response. Until then, our site will be down.

I got sucked in by their slick marketing years ago, and can't seem to get rid of my account. They recently gave me a year's hosting credit because of the excessive downtime. I barely have any websites left on the grid though because of how often it goes down. The reality is, Media Temple should abandon the “Grid” altogether. They just aren’t able to keep it operational. On top of that, if you ever have a customer service issue (like your site not responding) prepare for 20 – 30 minute hold times.
